After the Lion zoo, because I didn’t enjoy the “shopping”
Solomon took us to a few “stores” (like no stores I had ever seen) that had
fixed prices. One of those places sold scarves. Here they were making the
scarves for the shop. The guy kept trying to get Owen to try it, but he
couldn’t handle the pressure and was afraid he would mess it up!
Next, we went to the Alert Hospital – the only Leprosy
hospital in Africa. We watched the people make the things for the souvenir shop.
The peppers were lying beside the garden drying out. The hospital souvenir shop
was, by far, my favorite.
Solomon took us to the hospital where Aiden was born.
The backside of St. Paul’s Hospital
We tried to find the name of the church that is a part of
Aiden’s adoption story, but we could never locate the exact one. It seemed the
name we were given was a combination of churches.
